I feel very privileged to have been asked by the Circuit I minister in to devote more time to developing online media work as part of it’s continuing mission strategy. We had the first meeting of the support group for the project last night and I was really heartened by how well it went.
There were some great ideas being banded about including the work i’ve already started on both the physical and virtual aspects of the Saint Arnold’s community, an Advent blog incorporating various digital media and reflection, an online alternative worship resource and more dedicated time tending to this blog and reading and commenting on others.
I think it’s a really brave step by the circuit out into an area that not everyone will be comfortable with.
I’m certainly very excited about the possibilities. I hope you all enjoy exploring them with me
