Last year at Shadwell Methodist Church we set up an event to run alongside our regular coffee morning. The Experience allowed people to visit various stations at which they found a meditation to read and an action to do both of which encouraged them to engage with God.
For many people who visited the church that day it was something very new and powerful. The difference of being able to spend as much time in that environment of concentrated worship as they wanted to helped many of them to speak to and hear from God in a way that they weren’t used to and hadn’t been able to find in ‘regular’ Sunday services.
Thanks to the positive response that The Experience received we’ve decided to continue with a series of ‘Sacred Space’ events. The poster for the next one of these events can be found below. Please share it with anyone you feel may be interested.
