A classic clip from Friends where Ross tries to use a tanning booth with predictably hilarious results that got me thinking about suntans.
Lent is a chance for us to spend some more focused time with God. When we spend time in the presence of the sun people can tell by looking at us, they can see our suntan. What about when we spend time in the presence of the son? How will people know that you have spent time with God this lent? How will you ask God to change you?

Father during this time help me to draw closer to you
Shine the light of your love to illuminate the dark places of my soul
Help me to be changed from within and to reflect your glory
